The Three Pathways of Tantra

The journey of Tantra is a powerful reconnection journey to your body’s wisdom. Once you start living the Tantra life, you’ll never want to go back! The transformation that I see in my clients once they begin walking this path is inspiring, even for me. Within my teaching, there are three distinct pathways through which this work is delivered - sacred, somatic, and ancient. Your path is revealed to me through your energy, and what your soul is pulling you towards.

The Sacred Pathway

For those who are called through prayer, worship, and surrender.

This pathway is for the soul who has always sensed the divine - who reaches for something greater than themselves in moments of both beauty and brokenness. The Sacred Pathway works through devotion as a living practice. Here, the five initiations unfold through ritual, invocation, and a deepening relationship with the divine feminine and masculine as living forces within you.

Shakti is awakened not through force, but through surrender. On this path, you will learn to offer your shadow, your fire, your detachments, your pleasure, and your balance as acts of devotion. You are not striving - you are giving yourself over.

Work on this path may include: altar and ritual practices, prayer and invocation, guided devotional meditations, and working with deity or Goddess energy transmission.

The Somatic Pathway

For those who are called through the body, sensation, and feeling.

This pathway is for the soul whose truth lives in the body - who processes the world through sensation, who carries old stories in their muscles and nervous system, and who needs to feel something move before they can believe it has changed.

Here, the five initiations are felt before they are understood. Shakti rises through breath, movement, and somatic awareness. Shadow healing happens in the tissues. The tantra fire is a full-body experience. Detachments are released from the hips, the throat, the chest - not just the mind. Pleasure is not a concept but a lived, cellular reality.

Work on this path may include: breath-work, body-based meditations, movement and dance practices, somatic awareness exercises, and sensory presence practices.

The Ancient Pathway

For those who are called through lineage and soul purpose.

This pathway is for the soul who recognises something ancient in themselves - who has walked esoteric paths before, or who carries in their bones a memory of teachings older than this lifetime. The Ancient Pathway works through the original initiatory structure of Tantra, drawing from the unbroken thread of spiritual transmission through which this work has been passed down. Ancestral transmission is at the heart of this path: the wisdom of those who came before moves through you, and this work creates the conditions for that lineage to be received, honoured, and integrated.

Here, the five initiations are experienced as true rites of passage. Each one marks a threshold - a dying and a becoming. Shakti's awakening is treated with the full weight and ceremony it deserves, and the journey is approached with reverence for the lineage that holds it. This is the deepest, most demanding of the three pathways, and it calls for total willingness to be transformed.

Work on this path may include: formal initiatory practices, energy transmission and activation, working with Kundalini as a sacred intelligence, channelled guidance, and ancestral transmission.
