What Is Embodied Wisdom

Embodied wisdom is the practice of listening to the body as a source of truth. Every experience you have ever had, every emotion you have ever felt and not yet fully processed, every story you were told about who you are and what you deserve, lives somewhere in the body. This is how humans have healed, known truth, and connected to something larger than themselves since the beginning.

How I use this for Emotional Healing

When something happens that is too much to process in the moment, the body stores this incomplete experience in the tissues, the fascia, the nervous system, until it is safe enough to be felt. The problem arises when we spend years, sometimes decades, keeping these emotions embedded in our body, which later develops into trauma.

My work in emotional healing is centred on somatic release - creating the conditions in which the body feels safe enough to let go of what it has been carrying. This is not about talking through what happened. It is about going to where it lives and gently, with full presence, allowing it to move.
