What Is Embodied Wisdom
Embodied self-knowledge is the ancient practice of listening to what lives beneath thought. It is somatic awareness - reading energy through sensation, accessing ancestral memory through the nervous system, allowing the body to reveal what the mind cannot grasp. This is not new. This is how humans have healed, known truth, and connected to something larger than themselves since the beginning.
When you return to your body, you return to an unbroken lineage of wisdom. You access knowing that has been passed down through generations: in breath patterns, in the way trauma moves through families, in the cellular memory of survival and transcendence.
What was Lost
The great severance came when we were taught to override what we feel in service of what we should think. To numb discomfort rather than learn its language. To perform competence while our nervous systems screamed. This disconnection from embodied knowing is not just personal - it is generational. It is the inherited wound of being told that your body's wisdom is less trustworthy than someone else's system.
When you return to embodied self-knowledge, you remember two fundamental truths: real power lives in your body's capacity to sense what's true, and you cannot think your way to transformation - you must feel it. Secondly, you are not broken and needing to be fixed. You are disconnected and needing to remember.
